“It is so ridiculously easy to get carried away by work, ministry, relationships and the toils of life. There is the constant temptation to appear busy, as it tends to define our importance. Between all the busyness, I often lose sight of God and “feel” spiritually dry. Regenerate has been so instrumental in challenging me in my walk with the Lord. I found that Regenerate is NOT “another Christian-y event” where people go, get a top up of some head knowledge, feel slightly better about themselves, walk away and not doing anything about it. Rather, the events deliver RELEVANT, poignant, refreshing, challenging, humbling and PRACTICAL biblical messages that confront the audience wherever they are at with God to examine themselves and do business with Him urgently. Regenerate is also a social network where I’ve met raw, like-minded Christians to fellowship with, share, encourage, challenge, pray with and point one another to Christ, so that we don’t lose sight of Him and spiritually dehydrate. I’m thankful and comforted that I am not found in (or bound to) my work, ministry or people around me, but in Jesus (for which we are so undeserving of). True story.”

Attended Regenerate Marriage in 2009
We found Regenerate Marriage to be wonderful for our marriage. It was great to take some time out to consider our relationship; what we were doing well and what we needed to work on. The advice was biblical but also really practical. Keith & Sarah Condie were open with us about their experiences in marriage and we were encouraged by their godly example in the face of life’s ups and downs. Regenerate marriage is really worth attending and we’re sure that your marriage will thank you!”

Attended Regenerate Rally “Taste & See” in 2008
“Rowena & I are 28 years old and we’ve been involved in youth ministry for 10 years. RICE Regenerate 2008 was spiritually refreshing and more than just another event! Mike Raiter spoke on the Parable of the Ten Minas (Luke 19:11-27). He smashed it! He spoke with great passion + soul-searching conviction from the Bible. I was challenged to be greedy to use my gifts to produce fruit for the Kingdom of God; not for the praise of men, but for the praise of God. An illustration on Adoniram Judson encouraged me to taste and see that the Lord is good even in the hard times. After the talk, there was a good chunk of time to respond in a number of different ways: singing, prayer, Q+A with speaker, letter-writing, art, chatting. This was a helpful time to further taste and see the goodness of Jesus.”

I can’t speak more highly of the two Rice Regenerate Praise nights that I’ve been to. The thing I appreciated the most is that each time God addressed a part of my spiritual life which needed renewal. And I do believe that God spoke to me intimately about those issues throughout the night. I always walk away spiritually uplifted and challenged to see life through God’s lenses. Thank you, and I look forward to the next one!”
